Once your item is in the post I will contact to you so you know when to expect delivery.
I now ship orders overseas. Some countries may charge a customs duty, value added tax, or other fee for packages arriving from other countries. These fees are not included in the postage and packing fees and are the responsibility of the buyer. Please check with your Customs agency or local Post Office what additional charges to expect before purchasing items from MayCrafts based in the UK.
If you wish to purchase more than one item, I will combine postage where possible and refund any postage difference where possible.
If you have any queries regarding your order please contact me by email as soon as you can so we can work on the problem together: sarah@maycrafts.co.uk
I want you to be delighted with your purchases. I fully comply with the Distance Selling Regulations, which give consumers buying on-line in the UK the right to examine and test items at home as they would in a shop.
So, if you're not happy with anything you've bought, simply let me know in writing - email is fine or complete the returns form- as soon as possible and send the item back to me.
This doesn't apply to made-to-order/personalised items - see below. I'll give you a complete refund including any standard cost of delivering the items to you.
As with returning items to a shop, it is your responsibility to arrange and pay for the return of goods that have been correctly supplied and are not faulty. Please take reasonable care of the items while they are with you. For your protection, I recommend that you use an insured/trackable service. Please include your name, address and the order number with returned items.
Please note that 'Made to order'/personalised items (such as the child's name quilts) cannot be cancelled or returned.
Very occasionally, despite everyone's best efforts, items can become damaged in transit.
If you are asked to sign for the goods, please first inspect them to ensure that they have arrived undamaged. Once you have signed for the goods it may not be possible to later prove that the damage occurred before they came into your possession.
Please make sure you email me within 24 hours of the delivery taking place to let me know about any damages. It would be helpful if you could attach a photo of the damage as well.
We can then work out together how to proceed. If you let me know about the damage promptly, I can refund your costs or offer you an alternative. Please note that items in my shop are unique and so the replacement will not be identical. However, if you choose to cancel the order at that point rather than accept a free replacement, you must return the goods at your expense.
All refunds will be processed within 30 days
All items are made in and shipped from the UK. All transactions are subject to English law.
I have tried to accurately represent colours in photographs and colour descriptions, however monitor settings vary considerably, as may individuals' colour perceptions.
I try and keep offcuts from my projects, so if you require a fabric swatch to match colours please email me before making a purchase.
If you are ordering a child's name quilt, please check any 'personalisation text' as the fabric paint is permanent. I cannot offer refunds for errors unless they are my own. If you notice an error in your 'personalisation text', please contact me immediately as there may still be time to correct the problem :-)
All items in my shop are made by me, Sarah Bennett, trading as MayCrafts.
